    Your study program is academic, vocational or professional, it lasts at least six months and leads to a degree, diploma or certificate.
    Your number of work hour per week is only a maximum of 20 hours during regular academic sessions and working full time during scheduled breaks (for instance, winter and summer holidays or spring break).
Some research programs include demands for job, such as cooperatives or internships. A work permit is required in such instances to allow the foreign student to finish the job.
